GROUP ALLOCATION POLICY
Offers and placements at Arrabri Kindergarten are managed exclusively by MIKA. Arrabri educators and EV Early Years Management (EV EYM) do not influence this initial placement process.
When placement has been confirmed, group allocations (the days and times your child will attend kindergarten) are coordinated by Arrabri Kindergarten Staff in collaboration with EV EYM.
Upon acceptance of a placement, families will be allocated to a group in consultation with both Arrabri Kindergarten and EV EYM. As the 3-year-old kindergarten program at Arrabri has set group days, families of 3-year-olds are not required to submit group preferences. However, families of 4-year-olds may choose between two group options: Kangaroos or Wombats.
Group allocation is not determined on a first in basis. It is determined by priority access, and the needs of the individual children and groups.
Once group allocation has been finished families will be advised in writing of their allocated group by EV EYM.
